A Quick Nugget

Dear Reader--

Do you ever get to the end of the day and think, "I feel like I was working all day, but here I am still in the same lousy position that I was before"?

I do.

I found it helps to write everything down.

So I have a notes app on my computer, and I will sometimes just type out a list of things which are already crossed out, 'cause I already did them.

It's not so much that you have to read the list over at the end of the day, though of course you could, but it's more just like the act of writing those things down solidifies that you really did do things and you are moving forward to your goals.

The idea came from a video I watched about comparing real life to video games. Apparently they go to great lengths to make video games appear challenging yet winnable, because everyone will just stop playing if the game seems either too easy or too hard.

Just like effin' life.

Thanks for reading, Reader.

Dear Reader-- I've missed you, and I'm sad I had to leave you all by yourself for so long. Still, I did it for a good reason. This summer we finished principal photography on "The Bright Side of Life" in Northern California. It was the most difficult and most fun summer I've ever had. Here is some of the footage I shot starring Paige Ramsey, Nina Tarr, and Parker Love Bowling. Anyway, I hope you had a good summer too. You can tell me how yours went if you want. Thanks for reading, Reader. Ryan

Dear Reader-- Just in case you're interested, here's what I've been doing lately... ...working really hard on the movie all day every day. Getting props and equipment and coordinating with everybody. We are about to shoot the first material which should actually be seen on-screen! This is the first scene we are shooting, which tests a number of the techniques that should be used throughout filming. Thanks for reading, Reader. Dear Reader-- Did you know that Abba made a feature film at the height of their stardom? Neither did I. It's a concert film, but I always like the interviews with fans and stuff a lot more than the concert part. There's a lot of that in this. And other weird stuff. I had a good time watching it. I hope you do too. Click the picture below or the link at the bottom to watch the whole thing for free. https://bflix.ru/movie/abba-the-movie-8xx7y/1-full Thanks for reading, Reader.
