Flowers For Algernon

Published about 2 years ago • 1 min read

Dear Reader--

When we watched this movie in school the teacher stopped it at one point, fast forwarded it, and then played it again.

A kid in class asked why she did that and the teacher said "besides Charlie's intellectual awakening, the movie also deals with his sexual awakening."

So because of or in spite of that, this movie always stuck with me.

It's a good and straightforward story, but it has super weird / cool shots mixed in.

Plus the woman in it has a wicked widow's peak.

And sometimes I feel like the main character.

It's called "Charly," but it's based off the book "Flowers For Algernon," which I think is a much better title.

Also you can get the free YouTube ad blocker for Chrome here to prevent any ads from interrupting the movie-- it really works.

Thanks for reading, Reader.

Dear Reader-- I've missed you, and I'm sad I had to leave you all by yourself for so long. Still, I did it for a good reason. This summer we finished principal photography on "The Bright Side of Life" in Northern California. It was the most difficult and most fun summer I've ever had. Here is some of the footage I shot starring Paige Ramsey, Nina Tarr, and Parker Love Bowling. Anyway, I hope you had a good summer too. You can tell me how yours went if you want. Thanks for reading, Reader. Ryan

Dear Reader-- Just in case you're interested, here's what I've been doing lately... ...working really hard on the movie all day every day. Getting props and equipment and coordinating with everybody. We are about to shoot the first material which should actually be seen on-screen! This is the first scene we are shooting, which tests a number of the techniques that should be used throughout filming. Thanks for reading, Reader. Dear Reader-- Did you know that Abba made a feature film at the height of their stardom? Neither did I. It's a concert film, but I always like the interviews with fans and stuff a lot more than the concert part. There's a lot of that in this. And other weird stuff. I had a good time watching it. I hope you do too. Click the picture below or the link at the bottom to watch the whole thing for free. https://bflix.ru/movie/abba-the-movie-8xx7y/1-full Thanks for reading, Reader.
