I started doing it in an effort to combat my naturally-occurring negative thoughts, and it works.
These days I still have negative thoughts, but they're not the prevailing thoughts anymore.

Dear Reader-- I've missed you, and I'm sad I had to leave you all by yourself for so long. Still, I did it for a good reason. This summer we finished principal photography on "The Bright Side of Life" in Northern California. It was the most difficult and most fun summer I've ever had.
